Investment criteria for a games project

Games projects managed by F4G must broadly meet the following criteria:

  • A publishing contract must be in place before F4G provides advances
  • The development partnership (LLP) must have rights over source code, tools, engines, etc for the duration of the development (these revert to the original owner on completion of project and final payment to F4G)
  • The project has a budget in range £0.5 - £3m (approximately $0.85m - $5.1m)
  • Development timescale is between 6 and 24 months
  • Any licensed material is made available to the Partnership
